About This Service
Retain Sound Material Where Appropriate
The repair recommendation should distinguish what needs removal from what can remain. Retaining a component depends on its condition and role in the assembly, not simply its age. We discuss that decision so a localized repair and a larger replacement can be compared meaningfully.
Keep Interior Restoration Separate
A repaired exterior component does not automatically include repainting a ceiling or restoring a surround. If interior damage also needs work, discuss it explicitly. The repair proposal should identify those additional tasks or make clear that they remain outside the appointment.
Keep the Estimate Specific
A useful repair estimate names the affected part, preparation, proposed work and exclusions. It should be possible to explain its purpose without relying on a broad restoration label. Twin discusses those details with the person approving the job before paid work begins.
Avoid Repeating a Treatment Without Review
If an earlier application did not settle the concern, another layer should not be the automatic next step. Tell us what was attempted and whether the symptom changed. The current assessment guides the repair, including whether a different component needs attention.
