About This Service
Keep an earlier report available
An earlier report gives the assessment useful context, particularly when you were advised to repair a particular component. Share the complete relevant finding if available. Twin reviews the current condition and recommendation, rather than assuming an old photograph still represents the installed system.
Separate cosmetic damage from service scope
A damaged finish and a defect in the operating system are different concerns, even when they appear together. We explain which findings concern the chimney or fireplace and which restoration tasks need their own scope. This helps avoid ordering finish work before the relevant condition is understood.
Preserve details about unusual operation
Describe when the behavior started, whether it happens consistently and which appliance is affected. These observations help frame the assessment. They do not substitute for checking the installed system, and you should not reproduce an unsafe symptom for a photograph or demonstration.
Use Photos as Supporting Information
A photograph can record a visible condition, but it cannot establish every dimension, connection or hidden surface. Share images already available without creating access risk. Twin uses them as context for the assessment, not as proof that an unseen area has been inspected or that a repair can be fully specified remotely.
