About This Service
Keep Model Information Available
An appliance manual can identify maintenance requirements and components intended for access. Keep it available if you have it, but do not dismantle the unit to find a hidden label. We can discuss identification during the assessment and explain any information still needed.
Treat Hardened Deposits Separately
Ordinary sweeping and removal of heavy hardened accumulation may require different approaches. The assessment should identify that distinction rather than promise every deposit will be addressed by the same method. We explain the proposed service and any separate work before additional authorization.
Mention Changes in Smoke Behavior
Smoke entering the room needs assessment rather than another fire to see whether the problem clears. Describe when it happened and what changed. EPA guidance recognizes regular smoke or smoke odor as a possible problem; cleaning alone should not be presented as a diagnosis.
A Clear Handover After Sweeping
The closing conversation should identify the areas serviced, relevant findings and any additional recommendation. Ask about anything unclear before planning the next use. Keep the maintenance record clear about the serviced areas and any separate assessment still needed.
