About This Service
Keep an earlier report available
An earlier report gives the assessment useful context, particularly when you were advised to repair a particular component. Share the complete relevant finding if available. Twin reviews the current condition and recommendation, rather than assuming an old photograph still represents the installed system.
Ask what a finding means for the next step
A useful explanation connects the observed condition to a recommendation. Ask which task addresses the concern and whether another assessment remains necessary. Twin explains the proposed action without turning every observation into an assumed need for replacement.
Identify a Reported Termination Obstruction
A concern at the outside termination should be described without trying to remove the material or climb to it. The assessment needs to identify both the obstruction and the installed system. Ordinary cleaning, component repair and an active animal concern may need different next steps.
Revisit Requirements When the Model Changes
A replacement fireplace chosen after an earlier assessment may have different installation requirements. Tell Twin about the change before assuming the previous scope still applies. The existing opening, connection and surrounding work need to be considered for the product now proposed, not only the one originally discussed.
