About This Service
Identify the installed system
A masonry fireplace, a factory-built unit and a connected stove can require different checks. Accessible model information and manuals help identify the arrangement. We avoid carrying assumptions from one appliance into another simply because both have a chimney or similar decorative finish.
Inspection and cleaning serve different purposes
Cleaning removes deposits within the accepted service scope; inspection assesses condition within the agreed access. One may lead to a recommendation for the other. The explanation should distinguish what was assessed from what was cleaned so the service record stays useful afterward.
Identify Glass as Part of the Appliance
Fireplace glass, retainers and seals can be components of an assembled system. An inspection of damage should consider that arrangement before a replacement is chosen. Keep the fireplace unused and people clear of broken material; household window glass is not a generic substitute for the appropriate fireplace assembly.
Use Photos as Supporting Information
A photograph can record a visible condition, but it cannot establish every dimension, connection or hidden surface. Share images already available without creating access risk. Twin uses them as context for the assessment, not as proof that an unseen area has been inspected or that a repair can be fully specified remotely.
