About This Service
Separate Cleaning From Repair
Sweeping removes deposits within the agreed scope. It does not make a broken component sound. If damage is identified, we explain its role and the proposed repair separately, so the cleaning request does not become permission for unrelated work.
Review the Cleaning Price With the Scope
A price for the opening alone is not necessarily comparable with work on a connected venting passage. Twin explains the included areas and access assumptions before approval. Ask what findings would require separate work so the appointment does not leave the scope ambiguous.
Keep the Cleaning Record Specific
Retain the service scope with the appliance information. A record naming the system and areas serviced is more useful than remembering only that someone visited. It helps a later appointment distinguish routine sweeping from repairs or other work previously performed.
Do Not Promise a Sweep Will Correct Draft
A cleaning request may follow smoke entering the room, but removing deposits is not proof that every operating concern has been resolved. Keep the system unused and describe the event. Twin distinguishes the deposit-removal task from assessment of the reason smoke did not leave as expected.
