About This Service
Review Earlier Patches
An old patch provides information about earlier work, but it does not establish the present cause. Share any invoice or scope that describes it. We assess current conditions and explain whether the proposed repair concerns that area or a different component.
Discuss Material Appearance
New and weathered material may look different even when the repair is appropriate. If appearance matters, raise it while reviewing the proposal. We discuss the available choices and preparation rather than promise an exact match without considering the existing surface.
Separate Cleaning From Repair
Removing deposits and repairing damaged material have different purposes. If both are recommended, we explain the scope and sequence of each. A completed cleaning does not mean broken components were repaired, and an exterior repair does not automatically clean the venting passage.
Keep the Estimate Specific
A useful repair estimate names the affected part, preparation, proposed work and exclusions. It should be possible to explain its purpose without relying on a broad restoration label. Twin discusses those details with the person approving the job before paid work begins.
