About This Service
Let the Fireplace Cool
Plan enough time for the fireplace and remaining material to be cold before service. Tell us about recent use when arranging the appointment. Preparation should focus on access and the work area; it does not require a homeowner to remove installed parts or attempt roof access.
Do Not Diagnose an Obstruction by Sound
Loose debris, an animal concern and damaged components can obstruct a passage for different reasons. Tell us what you have noticed without trying to clear it yourself. We assess the situation before treating a blocked chimney as a routine brushing task.
Keep the Cleaning Record Specific
Retain the service scope with the appliance information. A record naming the system and areas serviced is more useful than remembering only that someone visited. It helps a later appointment distinguish routine sweeping from repairs or other work previously performed.
Describe the Deposits Safely
Tell us where loose material appears and whether you noticed it during use or while the fireplace was idle. Ground-level and room observations are enough to start the request. Do not reach into an inaccessible passage or disturb a loose component to identify it.
